Addendum to 2009 Stafford Girls Softball Association Rules: Only softball bats issued by the Stafford Girls Softball Association for the current season can be used for softball game play by all divisions. First offense during that current season for not following the above rule is a warning. Second offense in the same season is a forfeiture of the game. Any injury, as a result of use of an illegal bat,and liability will fall to the provider of the illegal bat.
In the event of inclement weather, information regarding rainouts may be available on the SGSA Hotline (609-978-4808) aftter 4:30pm.
SGSA holds monthly meetings the second Tuesday of every month at Stafford's Municipal Building located on East Bay Ave at 7pm. All are welcome.
Please note that all girls are to use only league issued bats during games.
"The purpose of this organization will be to promote and foster recreational activities for the girls of Stafford Township with SGSA Executive Board Approval.
The objective of the SGSA, a voluntary non-profit organization, is to provide a competitive program for the girls of Stafford Township. All officers and members will bear in mind that showcasing individual skills or winning of games is secondary. The simple opportunity to play organized softball is of prime importance."
